Dervish Table Top Grill: Restaurant Review

Dervish Tabletop Grill in Stafford, Tx is one of those restaurants where the dining experience matters much more than the food per se.

The restaurant offers à la carte menu as well as Chef’s Special buffet for dinner. The à la carte menu consists of a mix of halal Indo-Pak, Mediterranean as well as Chinese dishes.

Table Top Grill

The pièce de résistance at Dervish are their grilled items. The table top grill is filled with burning coal and skewers of different kinds of chicken, shrimp and beef kababs are kept warm on it.

Surprisingly, our favorite item turned out to be the grilled pineapple.

Verdict

The variety of food along with the service and ambiance totally justified the $24.99 per person price tag (1/2 off for kids). All of us, including my daughters and 2 year old son enjoyed the experience. The only thing that we missed was some pita bread/pita chips to go with the hummus and muhammara.

We will definitely be returning to Dervish Table Top Grill, Insha’Allah (if God wills).
