SoLo GI Energy Bars Giveaway

I recently received a box of SoLo GI Energy and Nutrition Bars and found out they are a great snacking solution for those 3 pm  hunger pangs that I often face.

“When you begin to get “hangry,” a piece of fruit or high fiber cookie won’t cut it,” says Registered Dietitian Abbey Sharp.  “To nourish both your body and brain, the secret is to plan ahead by keeping convenient snacks on hand that combine the hunger crushing combination of protein and slow burning carbs but that still taste delicious enough to satisfy your sweet or salty cravings.”

SoLo GI energy bars provide a mix of protein with slow releasing carbs and fibre. They are low on the Glycemic Index (Low GI) which means that their carbohydrates can be released slowly into the bloodstream as energy to provide long lasting energy and satiety. They are gluten-free and contain all natural ingredients. They are also halal and kosher.

SoLo GI Energy Bars come in eight decadent flavors:

  • Coconut Pineapple
  • Dark Chocolate Mandarin
  • Lemon Lift
  • Chocolate Charger
  • Peanut Power
  • Apple Cinnamon with Quinoa
  • Mocha Fudge
  • Dark Chocolate Almond

My favorite flavor turned out to be Mocha fudge while my daughters enjoyed Apple Cinnamon with Quinoa. They are also perfect as on-the-go snacks for everyone in the family, including my diabetic mother in law. I am packing quite a few of them for my upcoming trip to Walt Disney World for the 2015 Disney Social Media Moms Celebration.

If you are in Canada here’s your chance to win a pack of 8 SoLo GI Energy bars, one in each flavor. Please enter the giveaway through the Rafflecopter widget below

  1. Chocolate orange or Coconut Pineapple sound great to me (well, they all do, but I think those will be the ones I would eat first).
