Chicken Hand Pies – My guest post for Yummy Food

When it comes to blogging, I have seen very few food bloggers as dedicated as Lubna Karim who shares her wonderful recipes with lovely pics on her blog Yummy Food. I really felt honored when she asked me to write a guest post as part of the Joy from Fasting to Feasting – VI series where Muslim food bloggers from all over the world will be sharing their Ramadan recipes on her blog. I decided to share my recipe for these Chicken Hand Pies since for the last few years I have been trying to prepare more of baked rather than fried snacks for iftar. The triangular shape of these pies is similar to that of  Lebanese spinach pies / fatayer but instead of spinach they are filled with a spicy filling similar to chicken tikka .  Please head over to Lubna’s blog for the recipe and step by step pics.

Chicken Hand Pies Baked Samosa recipe for Ramadan Iftar

A big thanks to Lubna for hosting this series and for giving me the opportunity to be a part of it. It’s really interesting to know about the different kinds of dishes prepared during Ramadan in various parts of the world.
